One of the best collection I have is a folder full of drawings done by my now 10 year old daughter, Emily.  They may not look like masterpieces to anyone else but I assure you they are to me.  They will always serve as a reminder of the innocence of young children, how creative your child can be and, maybe, bring back a special memory of a special moment in growing up.

Anyway, here’s an idea of how to make those squiggly lines and blotchy colors form into a little more shape.  This DrawBook site helps even the youngest of budding artists take shape by providing all sorts of tips on drawing.  They includes easy techniques to use, templates to draw against and provide lots of examples to follow.  Give it a try.
